Andrew Barnsley is a Toronto and Los Angeles based Executive Producer of film and television. He is an Emmy nominated (Outstanding Comedy Series) and two-time Canadian Screen Award winner (Executive Producer, Best Comedy Series). Barnsley is currently the Executive Producer on CTV/Bell Media’s 6 x ½ hour comedy series Jann starring Jann Arden, CBC’s 80 x ½ hour series Schitt’s Creek starring Eugene Levy and Catherine O’Hara, Family Channel's 15 x ½ hour tween series Up In The Air. His 2019 development and production slate includes series with CTV/Bell Media, CBC and Family Channel. He has served previously as the Executive Producer on CTV’s 26 x 1/2 hour sitcom Spun Out starring Dave Foley, the TMN/Movie Central documentary series Sports On Fire and the HBO Canada documentary feature Spirit Unforgettable (2016). Since 2001, Barnsley has produced content across multiple genres and formats including comedy, animation, puppetry, live-action, children’s, documentary and multiple live concert specials.
Andrew currently serves Executive Producer in Residence at Toronto Film School. He is a member of the CMPA and holds an MA in Communications and Culture from Ryerson and York Universities, a BAA from Ryerson University’s Radio and Television Arts Program and a BEd from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Based in Toronto, Ben Murray is a twenty year veteran of the Canadian film and television industry. He has served previously as a programmer at the Toronto International Film Festival, Director of Business Affairs & Development at Serendipity Point Films and as Director of Business Development at Halfire Entertainment. During his time at Halfire, he was as a Producer of the ½ hour comedy, Working the Engels (2014) for Shaw and NBC. He was an Executive Producer of the multiple award-winning documentary Spirit Unforgettable (2016), currently airing on HBO Canada. He is an Executive Producer of the ½ hour comedy, Jann (2019) co-created by and starring multiple Juno Award winner, Jann Arden for CTV/Bell Media. He will also serve as an Executive Producer on the upcoming 15 x ½ hour tween series Up In The Air (2020) for Family Channel and CBBC. Ben leverages his considerable experience and strong relationships within the industry in overseeing Project 10’s Canadian development and production slate and in managing all business and operational matters related to the Canadian wing of the company. He is a graduate of the Cinema Studies program at the University of Toronto.
ANDREW MONCRIEF VP, DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION – PROJECT 10 U.S.
Based in Los Angeles, Andrew began his career at Morgan Creek Productions where he served as studio executive for all features including All Eyez On Me(2017). While there, Andrew started their TV department by exploiting MCP’s library titles, successfully packaging and developing The Exorcist and Major League as television series. He comes to us from Doug Ellin’s Halyard Park Productions after overseeing their development deal and selling projects to broadcast, cable and digital. His sharp eye and relationships with writers will bolster Project 10’s US development & production slate.
A graduate from Toronto Film School, Shelby developed her strengths for production coordination and organization in the VFX world, working previously as the Prep Comp Coordinator at Legend3D. Shelby worked closely with artists and senior production in order to complete VFX elements on multiple feature films including Ben-Hur, Passengers and Resident Evil 6. Switching gears, Shelby got the opportunity to learn the animation process as a Production Coordinator with Spin Master, working on seasons one and two of the successful kids series, Rusty Rivets. After one year of production, Shelby jumped at the chance to move into the development department as the Coordinator working on multiple series’ in various stages of development. Shelby is thrilled to bring her passion for television and experience in both production and development to Project 10.
Jess started her career at MTV Canada where she wrote, filmed, edited and animated bumpers for TV shows including The Jersey Shore After Show and 1 girl 5 gays. She then moved to Production Coordinating at Blue Ant Media and Zoomer Media, helping to manage teams and shepherd projects through development, pre- and post-production. Since 2015 she has been a member of the Directors Guild of Canada, having worked as an Assistant Art Director on productions including Suicide Squad, Flatliners, Orphan Black, Fahrenheit 451, Titans, The Baroness Von Sketch Show and Mrs. America, and as a Script Coordinator on People of Earth. Her extensive experience on Canadian and US productions, from both technical and creative vantage points, makes her an asset to Project 10’s continued growth.

After a 13-year career in MLB as the face of the franchise of the Blue Jays in Toronto, as well as time with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, and the New York Yankees, Vernon Wells brings his incredible relationships, rolodex and creative sensibilities to Project 10 Productions. Having spent most of his life on the field, and in front of a lens Vernon has unique and invaluable experience working with and for some of the biggest brands in the world. His experience and interest in entrepreneurship have resulted in the founding of JayChris Management and his investment, and partnerships with a growing portfolio of companies, including P10.
Headquartered in Dallas, Texas, Brandon is the Managing Partner for Vernon Well's Private Equity Firm, JayChris Management. Brandon's extensive background in investment management and corporate strategy has been integral in the growth of Project 10, as we continue to plan for the future of our business, and navigate the entertainment industry. Brandon serves an acting director for both the US and Canadian Operations of P10, while also spending his time operating several other investments and businesses in the JayChris Management portfolio.
